John Ruby

John Ruby is from Wisconsin but now lives in lovely Los Angeles.

He’s been an acting teacher for almost a decade and loves working on comedy. After many years of working in casting, John applied what he observed to help create F.I.R.E. Acting.

An actor himself, John can be seen as the recurring Coach Ruby on the show ‘Running Point’ with Kate Hudson. He also has appeared on Shrinking, For All Mankind, CSI, SWAT, Speechless, and 2 Broke Girls. His feature film credits include Solver, Cerebrum, and The Case of Jonas Booker.  On stage, John has performed in The Effect and Fool for Love.

In his free time, John loves spending time with his wife and son, traveling (favorite destinations: Iceland, Finland and Costa Rica), and playing basketball,.
